A Quick Start to using GeneCards&reg

1. Insert your query into the search box at the GeneCards home page and

click the "search" button. Some search examples.
 
2. If you get a result ("x GeneCards match your precise query"),

Select the minicard most relevant to you, and
click the colored "Display" link located to its left, to get the GeneCard.
 
3. If you get "0 GeneCards match your precise query",

click one of the ready links suggested by the guidance system
and proceed as explained in section 2.
