This gene represents a long non-coding RNA. It plays a regulatory role in bladder cancer cell proliferation. Several

genes can be regulated by this gene, and the most important one is the CREB (cAMP responsive element binding protein)

gene, which encodes a transcriptional factor and affects the oncogenesis. (provided by RefSeq, Mar 2012)
